Fluorescent material takes a portion of invisible ultraviolet radiation from either sunlight or audittorium lighting, and through special pigments, sends it back to the viewer as visible light. Fluorescent material will appear brighter than the same color non-fluorescent material.

FLUORESCENT YELLOW LAXGLOBALL™

A regular yellow colored lacrosse ball on the left is shown in comparison to a fluorescent ball on the right. The slight greenish cast to the yellow Laxgloball™ is the most visible color to the human eye. A regular orange colored lacrosse ball on the left is shown in comparison to a fluorescent colored orange ball on the right.


Fluorescent colored lacrosse balls offer higher visibility for stadium viewers and players because the balls are 50% brighter.


The closest two players are playing catch with a LAXGLOBALL™ FLUORESCENT YELLOW ball and players next to them are using regular yellow lacrosse balls.

FORL and FYRL offer high brightness for the players, and the stadium audience. The reflective dots, when used in conjuction with spotlights would offer white glowing brightness when viewed on the digital screen.
